TEACHING & TRAINING

In 2017, I launched the Global Learning Exchange for Healthy & Equitable Communities, with partners in the Bay Area, Kenya, South Africa, India, Colombia & others. In this effort, we believe innovations in the global south have much to teach those in the north, and vice-versa. This is because despite cultural and political differences, there are similar issue struggles, such as addressing violence, housing, environmental quality, food access & youth-led community development. Check out some materials from our on-going exchanges in California & Kenya.

Here are the syllabi for some of the courses I currently teach at UC Berkeley. More information can be found at the College of Environmental Design and School of Public Health web sites.
